The Lifetime movie, based on Ashton’s book “Imperfect Justice,” will debut at 8 p.m. Jan. 19.
Though the movie recounts the Anthony trial, Anthony is not a central figure.
The main characters are Ashton, prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick and defense attorney Jose Baez.
Elizabeth Mitchell of “Lost,” ”V” and “Revolution” plays Burdick.
Oscar Nunez of “The Office” is portraying Baez. In recent days, Baez has been giving TV interviews about his book “Presumed Guilty.”
I’m told that a big billboard for ”Prosecuting Casey Anthony” is up on the Sunset Strip.
